PARVO HOSPITALIZATION AND TREATMENT
a highly contagious, often fatal viral disease of dogs characterized by vomiting, severe diarrhea, and depression and accompanied by high fever and loss of appetite.
Complete isolation from other animals in our isolation therapy room. This treatment will include extensive care from our staff, all medications, IV fluids, and constant monitoring. This is a 3 day minimum hospital stay. An estimate for treatment will be given after receiving a POSITIVE result for Parvo. THIS IS HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS and if your dog is showing signs of vomiting, bloody diarrhea, dehydration, or is lethargic please seek medical attention quickly. Please call to let us know that you are coming and suspect this to be your animal’s issue. We will help with the entry into the building in order to minimize the contamination of other pets within the clinic. In getting all the recommended vaccinations for your young puppy it does not eliminate them from getting parvo, but it helps in minimizing the risks of contracting this disease.
